Child Safety Standards

DilSathi is an adults-only (18+) app for conversations with AI companion characters. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), in any form. This page sets out our standards.
1. Zero tolerance
- Any content that sexualises minors is prohibited — whether written by a user, requested from a companion, or described in a voice call. This includes role-play involving anyone under 18.
- All DilSathi companions are adult characters (21 and older). Companions are instructed to refuse any sexual or romantic content involving minors, and chat replies are generated with the AI provider’s safety filters for sexually explicit content turned on.
- Accounts that create, request or share such content are terminated and cannot return.
2. Adults only
- Everyone gives their date of birth when they sign up. The check runs on our servers, not only in the app.
- If the date of birth shows the person is under 18, the account is disabled immediately and none of their details are kept.
- If we learn from a report or otherwise that an account belongs to a minor, we remove it.
3. How to report
- In the app: long-press any companion message and tap Report.
- By email: write to our child-safety contact (below) or support@dilsathi.in. You can report a concern about an account or any content, including if you believe a user is under 18.
4. How we handle reports
- Every report is reviewed by [TO FILL: who reviews reports, e.g. the operator] within [TO FILL: review time, e.g. 24 hours]. Reports about child safety are handled first.
- When CSAE is confirmed, we terminate the account, preserve the relevant information as the law requires, and report it to the authorities.
5. Reporting to authorities
- We report CSAM and child sexual exploitation to Indian authorities through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) and to law enforcement, as required by the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and related rules.
- Where applicable, we also report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
- We cooperate with valid requests from law enforcement.
