Delete your DilSathi account

You can delete your DilSathi account and its data at any time. There are two ways.
Have a subscription? Deleting your account does not cancel your Google Play subscription. Cancel it first in the Google Play Store app: profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → DilSathi → Cancel subscription.
Option 1 — in the app (immediate)
- Open DilSathi and tap Profile.
- Open Settings.
- Tap Delete my account, then Delete permanently.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.
Option 2 — without the app
Email support@dilsathi.in from the Google email address you use for DilSathi, with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify that the request comes from the account owner and delete the account within [TO FILL: e.g. 7 days]. We reply to confirm when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, email, mobile number and date of birth
- All chats and call records with every companion
- Every companion’s memories of you
- Your Bond progress, plan status and usage, including unused voice minutes
- Device and notification tokens and your notification settings
- Messages you reported and safety records
- Your DilSathi sign-in account
Deletion is permanent — it cannot be undone. If you sign in again later with the same Google account, you start as a new user.
What is kept, and for how long
- Purchase records (what was bought, when and for how much) are kept, unlinked from your account, because the law requires us to keep financial records — for [TO FILL: period required by law, e.g. 8 years].
- Encrypted database backups may still contain your data until they expire, at most [TO FILL: backup retention in days] days after deletion. Backups are only used to recover from technical failures.
- Google Play keeps its own record of your purchases under Google’s privacy policy.
